Where did this stuff come from and why is it so bad this year? I heard some people say that some of CRP grass mixes had it in it, but I don't think so. I sprayed a field of milo stubble today that hadn't been touched since milo harvest and this horseweed was as thick as I've seen it and that's about all that was out there. No one plants any RR crops in our area. An earlier post said to make sure to use 2,4-D ester in your burndowns. Is it overkill to use 1/2 pint of 6# ester along with 6 oz. dicamba? I've always used that recipe along with 24-32 oz. glyphosate unless it's close to planting.
