Subject: Re: cotton seed per pound???

got about 1/2 inch of rain on it tuesday and another shower friday. it is starting to green back up and put on a new leaf. syngenta feild tech said he has seen worse but should come out of it with no yeild loss. will not have to pix it the first or second application he says.

we had lot of the croplan cotton last year, was not impressed with the turn out. most was 3020 the 3520 was the best yeilder but poor grades. the 4020 was the best overall but would not hang with the phytogen on grades and loan value. we had some phytogen cotton go in the loan a 61.5 cents. that is just unheard of but it happened. we are all flex but 175 acres of 445. and about 65% flex boll guard and rest straight flex. we avearged bout 42500 seed per acre highest at 53000 and lowest 31000 seed per acre. we normally try to stay at a 40000 average but this year dont know what happened. the lower populations look better then the higher populations so we will see come harvest.
