West Tennessee | You might can use the 24d I don't know how it would do on bigger giant ragweed. We can't use it because of the proximity to cotton crops here in TN. Recommendation that I got this weekend from a researcher was .6oz Firstrate or Amplify (thats double the usual rate) and 60 oz of generic roundup. He stated that this was the treatment they had the best results with. That would have to be a spot treatment as it'll cost about $20 an acre. I'm not recommending this I just thought I'd pass along what I was told. I have a few giant ragweed spots that are a real problem so it'll be interesting to see what other recommendations you get. | |
