Everything we have is chopped for silage, so the trucks notice it a little bit, but the choppers with the bigger tires can't even tell. After silage, its disked and planted to triticale.

Not sure on the damage to the crop, but it sure takes up the water after you dammer dike. My corn silage yields were pretty good last year, so we'll see for this year.
