Unfortunately, we have no control over the harvest.  Depending on what the seed company is doing, it may be picked anywhere from Labor Day to Halloween.  Usually it will come out the first half of September, we'll disk it as soon after as possible, disk it again and put it into wheat.

Being seed production also limits our herbicide choices.  Everything must be approved by the company before we use it.
