Seneca Kansas 66538 | ksfarm, same thing here. I just went in and tried to patch it but should have tore it up and started over. Now I have corn all different heights and harvest is going to be nothing exciting. I was hoping for a bumper crop with all of our early moisture, but it isnt going to happen. I am just glad we (supposed) have great crop insurance. I remember 1993 when we had this weather an no insurance. I am a lil unsure but at least I feel I have a lil bit of security. I just finished replanting 300 acres of flooded soybeans yesterday. I noticed this corn was starting to roll up yesterday because the corn isnt rooted down. One thing that worries me also about corn is the yellow sick color. I hope it sticks its roots down soon or its all doomed if we get hot and dry. I wish I had your pivots. | |
