Subject: RE: crop ins. says no to replanting beans? Yes or No

I was told yesterday by crop ins. that I had to replant corn rather than collect on the loss ( I can't do beans thanks to Lumax on the corn ground). They are paying for the replant, but my point is we're 7 days past their replant deadline and likely will be another 7 before it is dry enough to get over the ground (we're talking about 25 acres that drowned out). I said "What if it rains again and I can't get it replanted till end of June?" They said "That's OK - plant it". Seems like they have it figured out that paying for replant is cheaper than paying on the lost corn acres, but it's crazy how they are bending their own rules on the dates. Can they do this?
