i think my cattle are getting to like this very cold weather/blizzard/sympathy drill! I put out fresh hay for them and emptied the remains of what hay was in a couple feeders on the ground so they can chow down then bed down in it. I don't think they were all that concerned about the weather so far but sure like the hay on the ground rather than in the feeders. My newer Huth bull just turned to look at me before heading to his fresh hay pile in the ground. He and his pasture mates were like a couple kids before Christmas jumping around in the snow and playing. The steers were just lost up in the grazing corn, more or less oblivious to the weather.
