Ed-thanks for the tips.
Ground is to frame. Power is wired to positive post of starter to eliminate any issues with batteries.
Adding to my original post:The problem with the Ez-steer veering off was when it was powered using tractor cigarrette lighter on JD 4755 tractor(same tractor as on now). Also controller is mounted rigid on a plate so its not moving around to add to my tilt issues.
