Here's my outfit last year. The only option for auto-steer is a servo, since the Coupe has no power steering. Steering wheel rim is fairly skinny and very slick plastic. I didn't have much problem last year but the servo wheel must have lost some traction because I did add a leather wrap to the wheel this year and eliminate what I considered excessive slippage this year. I'm running the over-ride sensitivity @ 12% so it is taking some effort by the servo to turn the wheel.

The last pic shows the conditions my tricycle is having to deal with. I didn't have the guidance system when I seeded with the Concord and dealing with the crooked furrows was a real test for the auto-steer. Granted, the performance wasn't always as good as the pic showed but it was there or close, a lot more of the time than I could do it manually.
