Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum | I've trashed my share of Ipaqs, but I think I haven't trashed one since moving from RAM mounts or other Ipaq-exposed mountings to the Otterbox. I still have a love - hate relationship with my Ipaq, but it is pretty safe in the Otterbox. And the Otterbox allows use of "regular" cables from GPS and power.
I'd actually prefer to use the old Toughbooks, but the software companies have pretty much abandoned laptops as a platform.
Having said all that, the Recon looks very good - I just don't have experience. |
