I always think july 4th is the cutoff date here in SW MN.
Don't go with to early of a bean, narrow the rows and plant them like the hair on a dog (thick). Makes them grow taller and easier to combine. A light frost in the fall won't get down into the canopy as easy either.Those would be fields I would roll!!! Get that head right down on the ground. Good luck and send some of that rain east we could use it.
