Subject: Hey ckansas

Did you see any lodging after last night?  60-70 mph winds ahead of and with the first part of the thunderstorms last night.  Small areas of wheat were lodged this morning and wild oats in the pastures was flat.  Had 1.6 inches in about an hour and a half.  Most came with the winds which lasted about 30 minutes.

Oats I planted for forage is starting to get ate up by the rust too.  First time I saw that on oats, but only one day of sunshine in the past week and about 4.5 inches of rain in the last 10 days probably didn't help.  This weather is a real pain in the behind this year.  Too windy to spray and to muddy to work.

I'm betting 100 degrees and no wind around June 10 and then watch the wheat shrivel.
