The eDrive just needs to be paralell or 90 degrees to the tractor, not at an angle. It can be facing any four directions. The reason I believe is so that the internal gyro has its maximum rotational range to operate. In other words do not install it at a 45 degree angle to direction of travel. Someone please correct me if I am wrong - It is my understanding that the dampening is only for track tractors and it should be off for other applications - I'm not sure what it really does. I also believe (again correct me if I am wrong) that the antenna height is for when they come out with terrain compensation. We set all of ours at "0". I tried it at the height it was mounted one day and had problems with things working correctly - I changed it back to zero and quit having problems. I need to talk to the techs and find out if I know what i am talking about on the above. I don't get in on the sales and service end much but pick up a few tidbits of information by overhearing them. Don't take the above as gospel. John |
