Subject: RE: EDrive adjustment on sprayer

Pittsburg, Kansas

The eDrive just needs to be paralell or 90 degrees to the tractor, not at an angle. It can be facing any four directions. The reason I believe is so that the internal gyro has its maximum rotational range to operate. In other words do not install it at a 45 degree angle to direction of travel.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong - It is my understanding that the dampening is only for track tractors and it should be off for other applications - I'm not sure what it really does.

I also believe (again correct me if I am wrong) that the antenna height is for when they come out with terrain compensation. We set all of ours at "0". I tried it at the height it was mounted one day and had problems with things working correctly - I changed it back to zero and quit having problems.

I need to talk to the techs and find out if I know what i am talking about on the above. I don't get in on the sales and service end much but pick up a few tidbits of information by overhearing them. Don't take the above as gospel.
