| The recommendation is to not let them get past 4" or risk yield loss on weeds emerging after the crop. Similarly, simazine doesn't have great activity of Giant rags anyway.
Get them before the get past 8" in any case. You'll have to evaluate how thick they are to decide how much competition they might have. I had a plot sprayed when soybeans were just in true leaf because the rags had them covered over in spots.
