Subject: RE: Poly Pipe Irrigation....Why?

Here is one pic of one of our flood fields with poly pipe. feild is 2/3 corn and 1/3 cotton on far side. it is crowned in the middle so we have 3 strands on this field. one for each side of corn and a supply line to a pair of lines for the cotton. by running two lines there is no plugging just throw a valve and leave it. costs a little more in pipe but well worth the benefit from bending over and plugging the holes or putting a barrel under it. the other pic is one of our power units. this corn was about 16" at this watering and now it is 30" tall.
