East Kansas, DeSoto | Many years ago my wife and I adopted a total of five native American children back when in the days you did not adopt across races but the state could find no place for them. Two different tribes. Our first born son accepted them and I would say we had a normal family life with the problems that any family can have. Would do it again even though the end result in some cases not the best but they were given an opportunity they needed and would say it was successful experience. Wife is gone and I am 88. One daughter moved back with me and is a jewel. Gifford | |
