murdock - 1/16/2011 13:11 There are lots of positive responses here and I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, BUT. There is ample possibility for less than positive results. Good friends of ours adopted a girl and then a boy about 4 years later. The girl got pregnant at 16, had the baby and put it up for adoption. The boy has ADHD, learning and behavioural challenges and is difficult to deal with on a daily basis. They did not know this when they adopted him as he was only a couple days old. I'm sure neither child is what the parents were hoping for when they adopted and I am sure there are a great many times when they have regretted their decision.
