Joe,

First of all, thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm afraid no-tilling won't be an option for me on this field. Previous farmer left the field a little too rough for beans. I'll try the Roundup at 3 quarts.

I'm assumming you are putting the Sandea and generic dual on premergence. Is that correct? I'm not familiar with Sandea. What is that product?

Also, do you have much of a problem with white mold in your snap beans? We do here and that's why I'm a little reluctant to try the fifteen inch rows. But a few acres of fifteens's would be a good trial to test and see. Obviously, I won't be able to cultivate the fifteen inch rows. Most guys in my area cultivate their beans at least once if not twice. Snap beans most of the time respond well to cultivating. Do you cultivate your snaps?
