We have adopted 2 girls from China.  Lydia when she as 10 months, now 12 yrs. old.  Mei when she was 9 years old, now 11 years old. 

We went the over seas route because I do not believe in open adoptions.  If you want the state messing in your lives telling you how great it is that these children have 2, or more mothers/fathers go right a head a do a US open adoption.  The state told us that we should expect to have these screwed up previous parents over for Thanksgiving, ect.  Don't think so. If people are to screwed up to raise their kids please keep them out of the childrens lives.  Cruel aren't I.
