Subject: Re: Quit Planting soybeans

South-Western Ohio
We had the same problems with our Kinze,it was not the planters fault, just to damm dry.We quit no tilling and ended up working the ground to get the beanies in the ground and covered up.Started out planting in mud and end up planting in concrete. No rain today either, looked like some was coming, but it fizzled out before it got here, but then again, how relaible is DTN's radar?.Since April 14,we have recieved a inch and a tenth total rain and that came in 6 different rains.Biggest was 6 tenths on the 16th of May,but we lost it the next day with the high winds and 80° temps.
