I figure there are several Midsouth farmers on the forum who can speak better to the longevity or reuse potential for the pipe. I hear all kinds of reports and have been writing about the stuff as long as it's been used down here but have no first-hand experience with it.
Below, I'm inserting a link to a video showing a retriever for the pipe. There's no voice explanation, although the use of the device is pretty self evident. This is on the Dulaney Seed Co. web site. They're in Clarksdale, Miss., and are a distributor of the pipe and accessories and also farm and market seed. There's a contact form on the company's web site, but you're probably better off just calling the toll-free line, 877-974-7333. Ask for Terry Dulaney. No price is given for the retriever, as near as I can tell. http://dulaneyseed.com/index.cfm?show=10&mid=42 There may be other sources for this, but Dulaney Seed is the only one I know about right off.
