Iowa | Squish....can't really help with your end of this deal but being someone who was adopted I can say you'll never be able to fathom how grateful, happy and thankful an adopted child is to have and be a part of a family. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about how lucky I am to have ended up in such a great place! Keeps me grounded and seeing the things that really matter when I think about how different my life could have been without the two people who took me in almost 50 years ago. Just the fact that you and your supreme commander(LOL)are considering it speaks volumes about the two of you and if I can be of any assistance please feel free to email me(it's in my profile)!!
