Subject: Poly Pipe Irrigation....Why?

I hear it mostly from Southern producers that they lay out poly pipe. First, what is it. Second, why not use aluminum irrigation pipe like 8". Can the poly be reused, what does it cost, are you comming out of a well head. Sorry for all the questions.
