Subject: RE: Totally Tubular Vs. Keeton Seed firmer opinions?

we have used keaton for 5 years now, the last 2 with the low profile ones, puttin on 5 gallons of starter. it works okay but theres one thing i have noticed. i found a place where the closing wheels had not closed up the trench and in the sides of the seed trench above the seed was a white stripe of dried fertilizer. the splitters on the end of the keatons shot it right to the side of the seed but not where i think it would be more useful; in the bottom of the seed trench. i'm going with the totally tubular tubes next year. i think i'll get more use from the start with the fert layin under the seed.
