Somewhere along the line the tradition of transmitting the "can do" philosophy from father to son disappeared. Sad. Maybe if we had a lot fewer "rock" musicians?
I was amazed on our trip to Cuba that Gus is alive and well -- they have all the tricks I can remember from my childhood about how to keep a machine running.
And with all that dismal Russian machinery they still have, it regularly gets put to use.
Anyone Remember Gus Wilson and the Model Garage stories ??
