Iowa State is saying anything over 100k harvest population doesn't produce any more yield. The planting pops we are starting to hear about around here are 125-145k with a planter... higher with a drill. I have always planted in the 180k range but dropped it down to 145-165 this year. Guess I don't know what the right things anymore.
