East Central Ia | Yeah sidedressing is not an option for me here. I would be pulling my hair out trying to get it on at the right time. I normally have good planting conditions but about mid may we normally start getting enough rain that i think side dressing would be an issue. Anyway the only reason I am interested in strip tilling is to cut down on the amount of trips over the field on my corn on corn.
I think i am going to look real hard at the Progressive and Redball striptill machines. I think i would drastically cut down the amount of custom work i could do with the Dawn units. I could get as much custom work as i wanted if I could put NH3 and dry down. | |
