Sorry to bust your bubble. This is the third version I've read. The first two versions "happened" in Phoenix, AZ and some midwest city, Omaha or KC, I forget which. The exact same story, with only the serial numbers .... errr..... name of city changed. You can read yet another version on Snopes.com.
