Subject: RE: Planting Corn After Wheat - Alleopathy?

Ontario, Canada
Last year we notilled corn into the previous year's wheat stubble. Straw was removed and manure spread over top in the fall after the wheat. Yield was within a bushel of conventional corn right beside it. Not sure if the manure helped with the alleopathy situation or if that's just all talk. The corn looked great right from day 1. Maybe we just got lucky but I wouldn't be afraid to try it again.
