Yields are down slightly here. I did about 100 acres last week and put most of it in the silo. I did dry bale about 300 bales off of a small field. Normally get about 500 bales from that field, so it looks like yield was down 25% on that field. But quality was way up! Nicest 1st cutting that I have baled in the last 5 years. Sorry, but it is not for sale. My calves are loving it!

Some other fields look to be closer to average yield. That late freeze really set the alfalfa back but it is coming.

We recieved a measely 0.12" rain last night. Hoping for some more today, but I wouldn't count on it.
