Nebraska | I've seen more than one no-till study that shows that it will work in every part of the country in any soil type. Its just the person not the practice thats the problem. You hear a group complain about how it doesn't work in their particular area then you read an article about their neighbor who has been no-tilling for 30 years. Too many guys try it for too short a period and don't give it a chance and thus don't see the soil structure benefit take place, no patient. Sure its a challenge, the disc and rippers make it so easy. Also large corporate style outfits seem to steer away from it also. | |
