Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have to agree, we have had problems using the USB to serial adapters in certain situations.
This is why when I went shopping for a laptop a while back, I settled for an older used one. First of all it had a "real" 9 pin port and also it was running XP. Neither of these criteria were available with a new laptop.
The downside is that the older IBM Thinkpad that I bought does not have very good battery life and needs to be recharged fairly often. |
