Subject: Planting Corn After Wheat - Alleopathy?

Kippen, Ontario
We are looking into moving to a minimum till system and are wondering if one pass in the fall and another pass in the spring with a salford rts, great plains turbotill type machine would bury enough residue to prevent the young corn plants from being stunted by alleopathy. Most likely we will be applying NH3 preplant which should eliminate some more residue(Dmi bar with mole knives on 22 inch centres followed by a buster bar harrow). We would also like to leave the straw to gain organic matter rather then bale it up and sell it. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
