Alton, Ia | More than likely, when the data is fed into a computer, the "field drive" number (0) would be thrown out anyway, as a "statistical outlier". But you are exactly right about the random part. It sounds like somewhere, a computer randomly generated locations, and this guy was sent out to sample. It's not his job to determine where to sample, or whether to sample again, that's predetermined and necessary to remove as much bias from the data as possible. | |
