Most of the fungicides are labeled to spray before it heads.
Having said that I had some sprayed just as it was beginning to head. It appears that decision will pay as it's been cool and abnormally wet for us this year in SW KS.
If it were me I wouldn't spend the money on the spraying. The wheat is far enough along that it shouldn't hurt it too much.
Rust in wheat-do I need to spray?
