Subject: Rust in wheat-do I need to spray?

ne ks

Out looking at the wheat last night and noticed my shoes and pants turned red.  Went around looking at other fields and most flag leafs have 3-4 spores of rust on them.  Wheat is all headed and you can see a nice plump kernel, milk stage or soft dough.  The wheat looks like it would be 35-40 bushel wheat, don't know it was all frozen at easter, but has come back very nicely. My question is, is the wheat far enough along that the rust really won't bother or it will take enough yield to justify spraying.  We've had 3.5" of rain in the last 24 hrs. So it will be several days before the ground would hold me up. Any info would be appreciated.
