Again, thank you for posting this data. It is very insightful. I think the ability to store positions or at the very least, to be able to manually enter them is very important in a base unit. I expected the cost of the Baseline to be higher than it is. It would appear that in the 5-10km range, the baseline will give about the same or slightly better pass to pass accuracy as HP/SF2. It would be interesting to compare the range of carrier phase vs. code phase. The 900 MHz line of sight signals do not work in my area. We have too much rolling terrain and tree interference. We have trouble getting 3km range with the radios. I don't know of anyone using radios within 50 miles of me. Most are using satellite correction sources. I realize that radios work great in the right conditions. I am using RTK, but get corrections via cell phone. This works well if you have good cell coverage. |
