Subject: What would you do?

Planted round up corn 3 weeks today. Had .4 inch rain in 4 weeks so what hasn't come up is laying in dry dirt. currently got a good stand in approx 25% of the field. The seed seems viable throughout the rest of the field with some sprouted and others just laying there.
What would you do at this point. Forecast calls for the possibility of rain for the next 3-5 days but we have missed all the rains called for lately. I feel the seed would sprout and grow if given the rain.
Dad wants to plant beans, but will have to burn down the corn with fusilade or something. I don't see they need to plant if we don't have the moisture to sprout what's already there.
Wait for the rain or plant beans????
Opinions??????
Thanks in advance.
