Little River, TX | I am seeing $245/T for 55 lb small sq bales FOB my barn. This is semi retail pricing.
Bermudagrass hay is selling well at a little over $200/T, though prices are all over the map, with some folks desperate to sell and others just greedy.
I cut my grass hay a week to 10 days early expecting it to rain, so the CP was 13% to 14%. Just as well as those fields were under water this morning. The hay would had a lot of silt as an added flavoring. | |
