| 1. This is a setup for applying ammonia on the planter. This is in ND. On a 3600 with only minor modification you can use the closing wheel on 3004 single disk opener. I think the sealing was pretty good up to about 150 lbs with just a bit of leaking. Small enough so that I could ride on the toolbar without without feeling ill. This is a big topic in the Dakotas. You can use a 1760 or 1770 but not with the closing wheel.

2. In central ND we have begun to outfit Pluribus units with secondary gauge wheel setups which do two things. They allow operation up to 10mph and they more finely till wetter soils. All 2007 generation units can add this

3. A one pass seeding operation from central SD. Using a 1770NT with Fargo Products Delivery, 3004 for dry fert and single Curvetine closing wheel.
3_1 side view of unit. Fert placement typically 4.5 in deep
3_2 lots of people ask about how to mount diffusers for dry fert. This is a very clean installation performed by customers.

4_2 People have asked in the past what to do for a tow behind hitch. This is a simple design sketched by the customer and built by Grand Forks welding. I heard they turned this thing around in under 12 hours.
4_3 This is a neat steerable liquid cart made in Kansas by J. Skiles. I haven't seen one of these before. It seems nice and I think it is quite affordable.
5. Wet 60ft Strip till in E Cent SD. Kinze 3700 toolbar. Again in the very wet spots I pulled the TW off because they were jamming with mud. Then we brought the speed up to 8.5 or 9 mph to increase tilth in mud.
5_1 This operator demonstrated immense control over this big unit. A real professional.

6. Corn on corn in N IA. 7930 toolbar. I spent a couple days with a college friend at his parents place at the lake. I am a Hawkeye by the way. And did some strip till and caught a nice walleye. Although my friend insisted that we would not pay for worms when they could be had for free- which I found ridiculous given the labor we put into it.
