Huntington, IN | I am not sure you will see a lot of difference as you already have pleanty of N there for the plant to reach a potential 200 bu yield. Where CoRoN fits the program is when you back down the sidedress application and replace later with CoRoN. That makes for a more timely application of when the plant needs the N especially if you put down preplant anhydrous and have lost some due to weather. If you had time, it could benefit you to take some tissue samples to see where the plant was at for it's needs and go from there. If you don't see a big difference in the fall you shouldn't throw in the towel. I work for Helena in N. Indiana and we have already sold over 250,000 gallons of CoRoN throughout the state. A lot of guys swear by it and others only see minimal differences. | |
