We square baled 7 acres on Thursday and got 96 bales. The only price I've heard around here is a guy asking $3.50 out of the field for first cutting alfalfa which sounded about right to me but I don't think he's sold any at that price. If I was in a situation where I needed to buy hay I'd be trying to buy it asap because it should be a seller's market this year.
