South-central Nebraska
It definetely helps but there are limits to everything, including how much water no-till can take before it runs off. SC/SE Nebraska is located where the big thunderstorms often initially fire up and dump a lot of hard pounding rain in a short time.

University of Nebraska no-till expert and engineer Paul Jasa has always said that the scars of erosion are healed every year in a conventional tilled field and you don't realize how much soil you actually lose. No-till obviously will be easier to see especially after numerouis large rains.
