| Planted corn about 3 weeks ago and sprayed herbicide with the planter. I put down full rate of generic dual (2 pt.), 1.5# of atrazine, and 1.5 oz. of Balance Pro. This should have been enough herbicide to get me through the year but it didn't rain for two weeks and then only got 0.3". Now after 3 weekd some fields have patches of small grass coming but there is rain predicted for the upcoming week. Will the Balance do what it says in the commercials and "recharge" itself and get this grass if we get significant rain. We just got another 0.25" this afternoon. Debating whether I should bite the bullet and spray tomorrow (sunny and calm) and before the potential rain with steadfast or option. Or should I wait and see what the balance can do? | |
