Pulaski, TN | The hay I sold had never had any rain on it. The wind was out of the north with about 20 to 30% humidity when it was baled. It was cut with a discbine on Friday, tedded on Saturday and raked and rolled on Monday. As I said the hay was so dry it wouldn't roll good. This hay would break apart when you twisted it in your hand to see if any moisture was there. As for Nitrogen, this hay was checked and the levels were normal. | |
