I had the same thing happen to me a few years back. Some folks bought some grass hay out of the field and promptly threw it in a garage with a concrete floor, no ventilation, and closed the door. Well, it molded. I sold them the exact same hay, baled the exact same day, out of my loft, with no problems whatsoever.
