Subject: Re: Outback A=B lines

Northwest Texas Panhandle
I definately agree with you that the Outback needs tilt compensation. With the 70 mph winds this spring, all of out fields are rough. At every little dirt pile when the tractor tilts, the outback corrects itself unnecessarily. When we were strip tilling in a circle, the outback did not seem to perform perfectly. In a straight line, it does seem to be pretty accurate but I have never measured it. I think it might be as accurate as they say but it doesn't do a very good job getting it to the ground. Maybe I just haven't gotten the edrive tuned perfectly yet. It seems to me that it needs another gyroscope to measure tilt and maybe a sensor on the wheels to see what angle the tire is.
