Hay Wilson in TX

Subject: RE: Why Is Wheat Hay Burning Up?

Little River, TX
All the above, is why I do not like to sell hay out of the field. I put the hay in my open sided pole barn, and let it sweat if it is a mind to.
Many years ago a fellow bought a pickup load of alfalfa from the field, took it home and put in an old, but still tight chicken house. That hay got hot while the hay in my barn did not even get warm.

For the last 15 years I charge extra if they pick the hay up in the field. That stops a lot of foolishness.
