Central IL
I hope there are some good suggestions here as I'll be taking notes. I didn't work any this spring, although I could have (should have?). I have 3 different spots, 2 existing that got worse and 1 brand new one all on wheat stubble from last year. All ground is no till. Biggest problem for me are the deer paths that go straight up a slope. They continue to use the same path, gets to be a real deep sharp rut. Hooves do a lot of damage when it's damp, then wash out with big rain.

Thought about using a blade and packer to fill them in this fall then seed something (winter wheat?) just for a cover crop before corn next year on these problem areas. Not an area that would normally need a waterway, they're not in a valley, just a "deer highway".

Other solution is to get rid of all the deer. ; )
